New Restaurant in the Neighborhood

Hello Moto-I (pronounced Moto-Eye) - a new Sake bar in Lyn-Lake from the owners of Herkimer.

I had a chance to attend a sneak preview last night and it was great fun. Interesting asian food that is well prepared, great service, and a truly unique concept. They are brewing their own Sake in-house and the servers were very well versed to guide you through the process.

Located just three doors down from Herkimer in the old Machu Pichu space, this is sure to be a great neighborhood hangout. Especially when the huge rooftop deck opens next Spring!

Green on the Greenway

Yet another unique and subtle feature at Track 29 is the outstanding landscaping design. The designers at Close Landscape Architecture have done a fantastic job of creating a fresh modern look that looked good the day it was installed and continues to get better as the plantings mature.

Each planted area is irrigated and the plantings look exceptionally full and healthy. Individual homeowners may create their own container gardens on their private terraces, but the majority of the landscaping is conveniently maintained by the Association.

Hassle free beauty.

Got a Light?

One of my favorite things about Track 29 is the sophisticated outdoor architectural lighting. Each fixture seems to be well thought out, adding a sense of drama to the exterior and landscaping. The Louis Paulsen pole light is a definite standout as is the custom directional signage.

This is such an afterthought on so many other residential projects. It is refreshing to see this new level of sensitivity. I encourage you to drive by the site at dusk to see the magic that can be created with thoughtful lighting.
